- 59 Impala

I have been out of town without internet hunting, but cars are never out of my mind. Here are a couple of pictures of a 59 Impala my brother-in-law did. $51,000 invested and appraised at $70,000. The pictures are in a garage without lights so they do not give the car justice. Couldn’t take it outside, because of snow.
Looks….big. Have you tried to parallel park in that yet? If it were me attempting it I’d probably burn through this weeks rent money in petrol and watch my insurance premiums flash before my eyes so clearly not for me. Nice car though.

I’m not sure our British roads are wide enough for a car like that! Nice though. Reminds me of the cars in Cuba.

I can’t believe it. A used, really used, ‘59 Impala was the first car I owned. I became a GM fan because of that car (That’s General Motors, not Government Motors).
What a tank, and it never let me down.

It would be so sweet to drive that Impala. I love older cars and this is no exception. The metal in that car would make me feel safer than some of the tinny models of today.

Impalas are such cool classic muscle cars. LOVE it. Thanks for sharing the photos of it even though the lighting is not what it could be. Snow. Totally understand.

Very early in my driving career I got to drive a 65(?) Impala – it was in Napolean Dynomite terms, a . . . SWEET RIDE MAN.
I didn’t have too much trouble with parallel parking, but we build things a bit bigger in Texas.
I did noticed that when an older car is in an accident they receive much less damage to the frame. Unfortunately that means that the energy from the collision gets displaced somewhere – oftentimes in the drivers face and chest.
Great pics.

My first car was a 1968 Impala I bought in 1978 for $200. Great car…

OMG It’s gorgeous! I’d love to see it sitting out in the sun. Wow, a 59 Impala, I thought there weren’t any left alive!
